We’ve all been there---that place where nothing seems to be going as planned---the place where uncertainty, self-doubt, and the question, what’s the use lives.
That is probably what you are wondering---especially if you have tried everything you know, and nothing seems to work.
You may be on the verge of something significant. You have new ideas, huge dreams, and specific goals, but you do not have the tools needed to get those things out of your head and into your reality. So, what now?
You may be feeling stuck, uninspired, and totally disconnected from your dreams. There use to be a spark where uncertainty now lives, and your thinking “maybe it wasn’t meant to be.” So, what’s the use?
If what now is your greatest question and what’s the use comes in at a strong second, here is your approach to finding clarity and focus:
Take a deep breath. Sometimes the feelings of uncertainty, self-doubt, and hopelessness can cause you to panic. The best medicine I have found for a panic attack is a deep breath in and a deep breath out. I know that sounds all yogi-ish but it works in the moment. Deep breathes causes you to center yourself so that you can focus. Once you are focused, consider the fact that you are not alone. Every person that has achieved any kind of significant success, including myself, has been where you are and they needed to make some major decisions so that they could experience some major changes---which brings me to my next point…
Make a decision. The moment you feel that type of panic, is the moment you need to decide what to do about it. By the time you feel what you are feeling now; things have come to a head. There have been signs along the way that you have completely ignored or were too distracted to notice. I am sure if you take a brief look back, the signs would hit you in the face! No worries…make the decision to do something about it.
Try a new approach. If what you have been doing so far was really working for you, you wouldn’t be where you are in life. It’s time to do something different. Try a new approach that works! A good place to start is with the opposite of what you have been doing. Also consider the new ideas that have been running through your head lately. Until now, you have probably been afraid to try a new approach. Set your fear aside, and do it! Try a new approach. If you can’t think of one, I am certain that my proven---Common Sense Approach--- is just what you need.
Become a groupie. Find someone who is successful at what you want to achieve, and follow them around like a teenaged groupie. You need a mentor. Success is contagious. Being around people that are successfully living their lives will directly affect you if you get connected. Carve out your success by surrounding yourself with it.
Stop panicing, make a decision, try a new approach, and find a mentor. These startegies seem simple---that's because they are. Most often the simple answer is the best answer.
Until next time Loves...when in doubt, simply do what makes sense!
